Robert Arp
Background
He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Saint Louis University in November, 2004. His dissertation, renamed Scenario Visualization: An Evolutionary Account of Creative Problem Solving, was published by MIT Press (MIT Link) in 2008. His areas of specialization include Ontology Development, Philosophy of Biology, and Philosophy of Mind.
Digital interests
Currently, he is working primarily with UB philosopher, Barry Smith, and Werner Ceusters doing research in foundational ontology (meanings of 'ontology') and ontology development related to the biomedical domain.
