Stacy Person

I am a librarian (in that I have a Masters in Library Science), and co-director of the Digital Library Center. Prior to the creation of the DLC, I worked in the former Educational Technology Center since its inception in 1999. During my tenure in the ETC I created websites, taught faculty a variety of software programs, and worked on a number of campus-wide committees, including CourseInfo/UBlearns and the iConnect program. I also worked on a number of Educational Technology Grants, some of which have become DLC projects.

Since 2007 I have been working with Thom Slomka to get the Digital Library Center off the ground. I have been working with UBdigit, a home for digital collections at UB, since 2004, and the Digital Library Center is expanding on that work.

Digital interests

I am interested in the policies and procedures associated with digital libraries, the archiving of digital materials, and institutional repositories.
