I am a librarian (in that I have a Masters in Library Science), and co-director of the Digital Library Center. Prior to the creation of the DLC, I worked in the former Educational Technology Center since its inception in 1999. I am now working with Thom Slomka to get the Digital Library Center off the ground. I have been working with UBdigit, the existing area for digital collections at UB, since 2004, and the Digital Library Center will expand on that work.
I am hoping that the Digital Library Center can work with the projects developed/envisioned by the DHI to avoid working in silos, to provide support where possible, to give whatever help we can.
