Charting Creativity
This group proposes to explore the use of digital technologies to represent the unrepresentable––to chart literary creativity.

Lead investigator: Ronan Crowley
Group members: Other hapless souls
Detailed description: We are not privvy to the thoughts or intentions of writers but many of them have left their papers and drafts behind them––particularly those who were writing during the years that fall under the label of modernism. Many of these documents have ended up at the Poetry Collection. This workgroup proposes a systematic study of literary working papers to model (artistic) creativity.
Planned activities: We will try to model the creative processes of dead writers as computer simulations.
