Working group recognition

Faculty members interested in forming a working group (WG) should apply for recognition indicating

  • the name and scholarly mission of the working group
  • the names of expected participants in the activities of the group, two of whom must be UB faculty and full members of the DHIB
  • a schedule of activities proposed for the funded period
  • the potential impact of the working group on the study of the digital humanities at UB, for example, strengthening of cross-departmental ties, enhancing graduate education, involvement of new groups in digital humanities scholarship at the university, etc.

This information should be sent by e-mail to DHIB.

Working group wiki site

Once a working group has been recognized by DHIB, a page will be created for it on this wiki and linked from the present page. The WG will be responsible for page maintenance. The template for the page can be seen here.

Working group funding

Recognized working groups are eligible for DHIB funding; the RFP for spring 2009 (now closed) is here.
